Welcome to the opening day! On Saturday, 19 September 2026, we will celebrate the opening of Graffiti City exhibition at the Jyväskylä Art Museum. Opening day programme: The museum is open from 11 am to 6 pm, with free admission all day. 12 pm -Welcome from the City of Jyväskylä, Elma Hyöky Member of the Jyväskylä City Council, Chair of the Culture and Sports Committee - Opening remarks, Hanna Brotkin, Programme Coordinator, Art Testers cultural education programme, The Association of Children’s Culture in Finland -Jukka Silokunnas, visual artist 2 pm Meet & Greet @grafumummo Eeva Ala-Vannesluoma 1 pm & 3 pm Presentation of graffiti publications 1–3 pm Urban Diamond jewellery presentation in the museum shop Participatory performance The opening day music will be provided by DJ R2ISDJ2. Everyone is welcome to the opening! Graffitikaupunki brings together graffiti artists from Jyväskylä representing different generations, from the 1990s to the present day. The exhibition takes visitors on a journey through the local history of graffiti, explores its diverse forms of expression, and shows how graffiti can transform into sculptures, printmaking and installations.
