On our An Evening of Lights Dinner Cruise, you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of a September evening, light art, live music and delicious food – all at a leisurely pace and in good company. The cruise departs from Jyväskylä Harbour just in time for sunset. As the journey continues, the last colours of the day slowly fade into the autumn twilight, and the atmospheric lighting aboard m/s Suomen Suvi begins to glow. At the same time, Jyväskylä is celebrating the City of Light event, and during the cruise, we will also pass by some of the light installations around Lake Jyväsjärvi to admire them from the water. Live music for the evening is provided by Duo Laume, featuring Eglė Gricė on vocals and Santtu Säisä on guitar. Their repertoire includes jazz, timeless classics and familiar favourites. The first 45-minute set provides relaxed background music, perfect for enjoying the scenery and dinner. During the second set, the mood picks up a little with a more varied selection of songs, including some livelier favourites. At the beginning of the cruise, you can also enjoy a delicious dinner buffet prepared by our onboard chef for €28 per person. A warm and cozy boat, the fading autumn light over the lake, delicious food and live music – what better way to spend a September evening and celebrate the end of this year’s cruising season together!
