Art Center Haihatus Closing Event - Live Music & Food Art Feast

Live music, contemporary art and culture in Joutsa. The closing event of the Haihatuksen summer season in Central Finland offers an exhibition and food.

Celebrate the end of the summer season at Haihatus Art Centre on Friday, 28 August 2026! The evening features a live performance by Yhteiset kainalot and a special food art feast by the vegan Fantasia Summer Café, where a surprise menu offers unique flavours to mark the closing of the season. Yhteiset kainalot invites audiences into a rich sonic landscape created with synthesizers, drum machines, effects, field recordings, and guitar looping. Each performance incorporates sounds from the surrounding environment, making every concert a unique experience. The Season Closing Celebration is part of Haihatus Art Centre’s Art Camping programme and the Rihmasto (Rhizome) Summer Exhibition 2026. During the evening, visitors are also welcome to explore the exhibition, which extends throughout the gallery house, sculpture garden, and surrounding grounds.
