Valon kaupunki event is organized for the 19th time! Jyväskylä invites you again to enjoy the light art, experiences and a comprehensive side program.
The City of Light event will be organized this year as a three-day event from Thu-Sat 25.-27.9.2025. The traditional City of Light event in Jyväskylä for the 19th time! Domestic and international light artworks will be spread across Mattilanniemi, Ruusupuisto, Lounaispuisto, Yläkaupunki, Kirkkopuisto, Kompassi, Arena Square and Tourujoki. LIGHT ARTWORKS The light artworks will be published soon. The light artworks will be on display Thu-Sat 25.-27.9. from 8 pm to 12 am. STREET FOOD Street Food markets offering delicious food from around the world will rise on the pedestrian street Thu-Sat 25.-27.9. daily from 4 pm to 12 am. SIDE PROGRAM You can find the side events under the section "Linked events". The light-themed side program will offer experiences and delights throughout the event. CITY OF LIGHT MOBILE APP With the City of Light app, you can plan your own luminous event experience in advance!
