Timo Lavikainen and Pasi Karppi are bringing the 1980s cult classic to the stage for the first time in Finnish.

Mies miehelle is an homage from the performers to the childhood heroes who have influenced their lives. Why don't the banks in the Keuruu area write off bad debts? And what do the Keuruu Markets and the life of the mayfly have in common? Among other things, the answers to these questions will be found in Timo Lavikainen and Pasi Karpi's Mies miehelle performance. The performance is based on the characters created by Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones for their 1980s comedy series. In Finland, the series was broadcast under the title "Lunta tupaan". The iconic image of the men in white shirts is considered a symbol of the golden years of British comedy. Even 40 years later, the show unashamedly brings the cat out of the bag and talks about, among other things, the midlife crisis, health problems, financial worries, raising children, and a whole lot of women.
