MizumiCon

The 14th-16th of August 2026 MizumiCon, which focuses on Japanese popular culture, will be held at Spa & Resort Peurungassa in Laukaa!

MizumiCon is a new kind of summer cultural event that brings together enthusiasts of visual arts, cosplay, games, anime, comics, and creative expression. The event offers young people, young adults, and families the opportunity to participate, perform, be inspired, and meet like-minded people in a safe and community-oriented environment. The program includes a Cosplay competition, workshops, an art alley and sales hall, performances, a maid cafe, and community-building activities. The event emphasizes cultural inclusion, self-expression, and low-threshold participation opportunities for first-time attendees as well! The summer 2026 MizumiCon is expanding from the first winter event: the program will be held not only in the spa hotel facilities but also in the beautiful forest and lake landscapes of Peurunka. There will be a diverse program, performances, encounters, and activities for the entire weekend, both for first-time attendees and veterans! MizumiCon's own character, Mizuhi, is already eagerly awaiting the summer and invites you to join in spending a weekend where hobbies, creativity, and togetherness come together in a unique environment. Welcome to MizumiCon! The event is organized by the non-profit association Laukaan Conittajat ry, whose aim is to promote youth cultural inclusion and build a new, annually recurring con tradition in Central Finland.
