Welcome to a Vappu celebration filled with the scent of homemade donuts and sima at Juurikkasaari — and don’t forget the brunch! On Vappu Eve, April 30, the beach sauna will be hot from 3 PM to 7 PM, and you can cool off with a refreshing dip in the icy waters of Lake Päijänne. Enjoy fresh homemade donuts and sima on site, or pre-order them to enjoy at home. From 5 PM onwards, our kitchen will serve up delicious bites for a cozy taco evening. On Vappu Day, May 1, we’re hosting a festive Vappu Brunch from 12 PM to 3 PM, featuring a mouthwatering tapas-style buffet (see full menu below).
