August 23 marks the Day of Kharkiv — the Hero City, a symbol of resilience and strength. And the very next day, August 24, is Ukraine’s Independence Day. We’re bringing both of these important dates together for one big celebration — and you're invited! What’s waiting for you? Delicious Ukrainian food — borscht, okroshka, freshly baked pies (pyrozhky), homemade cakes and pastries. Unique Ukrainian merchandise and souvenirs — from embroidery to crafts and tridents. An art exhibition featuring works by Ukrainian and Finnish artists — and yes, the paintings will be available for purchase. A beauty zone with professional treatments. Live music — enjoy soulful Ukrainian tunes and modern favorites. A perfect family-friendly event: Kids will love our dedicated play area with free creative workshops led by mentors and volunteers.
