Dess Terentjeva visits Jyväskylä City Library for the Pride week. The visit is organised together with Jyväskylän SETA ry. Dess Terentjeva is an award-winning author from Tampere. She writes both adults’ and YA books. She has a Master of Arts degree from the University of Jyväskylä. Terentjeva writes about otherness and love from multicultural point of view. Her writing also carries strong queer themes. Her seventh novel, Suuri koira juoksee ja päätön kukko lentää, will be published in the autumn of 2026. Terentjeva is interviewed by journalist Iida Joela. The event takes place on the 1st floor Stage of the Main Library. The event is open for everyone and the venue is accessible. Welcome!
