Sauna Yoga in Juurikkasaari

Welcome to the gentle warmth of sauna yoga to relax and unwind in our eternally beautiful new panoramic sauna overlooking the stunning Päijänne landscapes.

Sauna yoga is suitable for everyone and does not require previous experience in yoga. The sauna is heated to a gentle 50 degrees and no steam is thrown during the yoga session. Soft movements, various spinal twists, opening movements and stretches are performed while seated on the benches, releasing tension in the body and calming the mind. Sauna yoga stimulates metabolism, relieves stress, and increases mobility, with the heat providing an additional effect. The positive effects of sauna yoga can also be felt in improved sleep quality. Location: The new scenic sauna at Juurikkasaari. Duration: 45 minutes Time: Mondays at 6:00 PM - 6:45 PM Instructor: Tuija Särkivuori Maximum of 12 participants per sauna yoga session Price includes a refreshing juice, herbal tea and water. Price: €28 / person / session Bring a water bottle and your own towel as a yoga mat. Dress in lightweight workout clothes (e.g. top + shorts) or your preferred swimwear. Remember to drink plenty of water about 1.5-2 hours before the start of the session. After the yoga, you have the opportunity to stay and enjoy the sauna, swimming and washing up. After the sauna, you can enjoy the food, drinks and views on the award-winning lakeside terrace. Changing rooms for women and men are located on the lakeside sauna side. Toilet (hair dryer) 2 showers (shampoo & conditioner) A sauna cabin for cooling down, where you can also refill your water bottle with fresh water. Welcome!
