Road Ensemble, Iranian and Kurdish folk Music

Ancient tunes, colourful melodies and diverse rhythms of the Middle eastern musical culture

Road Ensemble founded in 2015 by Farshad Sanati and Fardin Abbasi in Jyväskylä Finland, They perform Iranian and Kurdish folk music. Road has performed several concerts, workshops and lectures about Iranian music, all over Finland. They have had some guest musicians from Finland and other countries during the last years. In 2022 they were selected as the ambassador of Iranian music in Finland by the Finnish Heritage Agency (Museovirasto), more over than publishing an article in wiki.aineeton kulttuuriperintö website, they make more efforts to introduce these ancient tunes and diverse rhythms of the region to Finnish audiences. For these concerts Farzad Mehdi Nia, Sheida Sanati and Tiia Pennanen join the group.
