Arktisen Upeeta: Sorcières, mes soeurs + Sorcière Queer + Starhawk

The opening screening of Arktisen Upeeta XXI: THE WORLD IS BURNING film festival in Ilokivi.

Camille Ducellier, a french documentary director, media artist and writer gives us three distinguished looks at modern witches in a series of short documentaries.

"Witches, devil's hooks, firebrands ... Who are these women who embody the danger of the times? Feminists for sure, sometimes underground and singular in their approach, here are some witches of today who have met my gaze." (Camille Ducellier)

Writer and doctoral student of literature Riikka Ala-Hakula gives a speech (in Finnish) with the subject of 'The Witch as a Feminist Symbol' after the screening.
